Are you new to overnights or residentials?
Residentials are often a highlight for our members. However, planning an overnight or residential for your unit for the first time can feel a little daunting.
The ‘Going Away with scheme’ is here to support you. The scheme helps you to plan trips and ensure the safety of your unit away from home.
Our local volunteer training team are hosting Going Away with Training at Lorne for leaders from any section.
When is the training?
Saturday 7th September 2024 from 10.30am-4pm
Who can attend training?
This training is open to members who have completed the leadership qualification and who currently hold an active role as a leader, commissioner, or advisor.
Is there a cost?
Yes, the Going away with training costs £5.
Please note, training is a legitimate unit cost.
