This workshop is for all District, Division and County Commissioners. Throughout the day Commissioners will find out more about their role as Commissioner including their responsibilities in working with their team, recruiting adult volunteers, how Guiding systems can help them and increase their knowledge and understanding of Doing our Best.
Location: Lorne Estate, Holywood, Co. Down

Time: Arrival from 9.30am for 10am start. Finish at 4pm
Refreshments and lunch included. Casual uniform to be worn.
Session 1 -
Training session on Go - Commissioners are invited to bring their laptops with them as this session will be interactive. Commissioners will be shown how to navigate the Go platform and have the opportunity to see how to and be able to run various compliance reports to assist them in their role.
Session 2 - Choice of:
Doing our Best - This session will aim to increase your knowledge and understanding of the Doing our Best Standards and to feel comfortable using them with units in your Commissioner role.
Growth - Recruiting Adults - This session will provide Commissioners with ideas and methods for recruiting adult volunteers into Girlguiding
Session 3 -
Planning - Workshop on building your team and succession planning.
