Girlguiding Ulster is now offering A Safer Guiding face-to-face training session. It is for adults aged 18+.
This training ensures that volunteers offer girls a safe space where they can have fun, learn and grow. You’ll learn about:
- What to do if someone tells you about a concern, allegation or disclosure
- How to recognise there is a concern
- How you can support and help someone tell their story safely
- How to take action and with whom
- Where to get help
This training is being delivered in person in one session, approximately 4 hours long with a short comfort/refreshment break during the session. Completion of Safer Guiding is valid for three years.
Please wear your uniform.
Location: St. Johns Parish Centre, 51 Main Street, Moira, Co Down. BT67 0LQ
