Managing Unit Accounts
This session is part of the LDP, and will also have a quick demo of the Girlguiding Excel Spreadsheet at the end.This training will support you to understand your responsibilities in managing unit accounts.
The objectives are:
- Discussed your responsibilities in managing unit accounts.
- Explored the finance policy and procedures.
- Examined the requirements of managing unit funds and accounts and maintaining good records.
- Recognise the importance of budgeting.
And the outcomes:
- Identified their own responsibilities in managing unit accounts and where to find the information
- Compared the finance policy and procedures with the practice in their own unit/area.
- Understand the requirements of managing unit funds and maintaining good records.
- Know the significance of construction and maintaining a budget for their unit/area.
The Young Leader Development Programme (YLDP)Saturday 12th September 2026
This session will explain to adult leaders how to support Young Leaders in their units through the YLDP.
Where: Dunluce Guide House, 71 Ballytober Rd, Bushmills BT57 8UY
When: Managing Unit Accounts starting at 11am - 1pm
When: The Young Leader Development Programme (YLDP) starting at 1.30pm - 3.30pm
Tea/Coffee will be provided however if you are booking both sessions, please bring a packed lunch. Kitchen facilities are available.
Please wear uniform.
There will also be a 1st Response training running at the same time in another room so please car share where possible.
