PEACE of Mind - Mental Health Training
This training is facilitated by Inspire Wellbeing as part of the PEACE of Mind project. PEACE of Mind is funded by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB)
Learn How to Support Others Safely and Look After Yourself
Building Resilient Young People is designed to help you recognise when someone might be struggling and understand how to respond in a safe, supportive way.
These sessions are relaxed, practical and created to help you feel more confident when it comes to looking out for friends, classmates or anyone in your community.
Across the training, you’ll learn how to:
- spot early signs that someone might be finding things difficult
- understand common mental‑health challenges young people face
- check in with someone safely and respectfully
- know what to say and what not to say
- signpost people to the right support
- look after your own wellbeing while helping others
You’ll take part in discussions, real‑life scenarios and activities that help you build the awareness and confidence to support others without feeling overwhelmed yourself. There’s no pressure to have all the answers, this training simply gives you the tools to notice, listen and respond in a safe and healthy way.
If you care about others, want to feel more prepared to help a friend, or want to understand more about mental health, this training offers a supportive space to learn skills you can use every day.
This training is for adults 18+yrs who are Trainers, Assistant Commissioners, Lead Volunteers, Commissioners or Leaders.
