FIRST LEGO league - Brownie Bricks '26
Calling all future Brownie builders, coders, and creators! Get ready for a block-buster overnight of fun at our first ever Lego League for Brownies at Lorne!
Join us for a brick-tastic adventure where you'll team up to build amazing creations, snap into problem-solving mode, and compete with friends! With the help of our amazing friends at Irish Girl Guides, we’ll dive into the Unearthered season of first Lego league, you and your team will work together to research, problem solve, code and engineer – building and programming a robot that navigates the mission of the unearthed game – uncovering hidden treasures, mysterious artefacts and forgotten stories. Our Lego adventure will begin on Saturday morning, before the competition builds to a finale on Sunday afternoon. You can be guaranteed it will be stacked with fun, teamwork and creativity. Get ready to dig, explore and discover – and uncover the world of Lego league with your team. Spaces are limited, so get your team signed up soon!

Date and times: Saturday 10th January 2026 starting at 10.30am - Sunday 11th January finishing at 3.30pm
Cost per team of 5 Brownies & 1 Leaders: £340 per team (Brownies £60 Leader £40)
What to bring:
- Please bring a packed lunch for Saturday.
- Everyone will need to bring their own sleeping bag, or quilt, fitted sheet & pillowcase.
- Refillable water bottles.
- Pyjamas, underwear, washbag and towel.
- We would ask the Brownies to wear their uniform on Saturday & Sunday so no change of clothes needed.
Leader information:
- Leaders must ensure that the relevant Guiding forms are completed (including REN forms)
- Leaders do not need to hold their ‘Going away with’ licence for this event.
- Groups with little or no residential experience are welcome to join in.
* Please note some leaders might have to share bedroom with another leader.
Please note that a non-refundable deposit of £110 will be required to secure each participants place.
Final balances will need to be paid in full by 1st December 2025
